William McDaniel
William David McDaniel, 78, of Chattanooga passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018.
He was born on December 13, 1939 in Chattanooga to the late Loyal and Johnnie McDaniel. He was preceded in death by his brothers, L.K. McDaniel, Jr. and Steve McDaniel.
He was a graduate of Ooltewah High School, served in the United States Air Force, and attended UTC. He was retired from Wheland Foundry. Mr. McDaniel was a member of Bayside Baptist Church where he served as deacon.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Judy McDaniel; sons, Russ (Penny), Eric (Heather), and Matt (Gina); grandchildren, Brandon (Shandi), Jordan (Tyler), Evan, Faith, Will, and Preston; great-grandchildren, Bella, Alina, Makenna, Sawyer, and Jackson; brother, Bob (Sarah) McDaniel; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, and Tuesday, Dec. 11, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Bayside Baptist Church 6100 TN-58, Harrison, Tn. 37341.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Bayside Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bayside Baptist Church.
