Jeff Styles Starts New Gig On NoogaRadio 92.7 FM

Sunday, December 9, 2018

Longtime Talk Radio host Jeff Styles, who was fired by WGOW Talk Radio after being arrested in a road rage incident, has found a new gig.

He begins Monday morning with "Fred the Show" on NoogaRadio 92.7 FM from 8-10 a.m.

It will be sponsored by Peoples Home Equity, one of his sponsors during his long tenure at WGOW.

Charges of aggravated assault and vandalism were recently dismissed at the Grand Jury level. Mr. Styles was shot in the arm after he confronted another driver armed with a tomahawk and smashed the driver's side window.

He said, "I'm a man coming in from the wilderness after several months of wandering/soul-searching.

"My name Is Jeff.

"I’m a Virgo (on the cusp of Libra).

"My Turn-ons are: Comforting the Afflicted.  Afflicting the Comfortable.  Telling the Truth.

"My Turn-offs are:  Liars, Mouth-Breathing Ideological Zealots and Politicians.  (But, I Repeat Myself)

"I’ve Been Out of the Loop for a While and I Need Your Help Catching up on a Few Things:

"Are Boy Bands Still “Rockin’ America’s Airwaves”?

"Is our Relationship with Russia still Friendly after the Fall of “The Wall’ and the End of The “Cold War”?

"Did Chattanooga’s “Violence Reduction Initiative” end Gang-Warfare and Street Crime as Advertised?

"Are we Tired of Winning, Yet?

So, friends, a few more questions:

*- America still stands for our founding principles of freedom of speech, right?
* - The 5th Column, American journalists, seeking the truth, are are still protected to the uttermost limits of western law...with all of us dependent /existing under the the inherent right of the first amendment, right?
* - We would NEVER let our principles, laid down by the founding fathers, to be corrupted by one party...or (a thousand times worse), a single person...even if he were, God Forbid, the President...for personal or "single party politics" self-enrichment?
* - Corrupting the U.S.
Constitution based on "cult of personality" or popular zeitgeist, is the ultimate goal of what communists/fascists/nihilists/anarchists hoped to achieve, right?
* - The average American is still intelligent enough to know what a "zeitgeist" is, right?
* - Chattanooga's STILL the "Dynamo of Dixie", right...leading the world in textile imports?
* - Is "Family Feud" still the best TV Show ever?
* - Did the average IQ of the human race drop significantly while I've been gone?

Thanks for your feedback.  It might come into play real soon.

Don’t Trust County Attorney Taylor’s Gag Order

At this point, most of us are aware of the WWTA debacle on site selection and the half-baked planning for a new treatment plant on Mahan Gap Road. There were also untruths given to the public about the basis or need for a new treatment plant on Mahan Gap Road by WWTA. That, my friends, is offensive. Pam Sohn of the Times Free Press outed the WWTA’s false contention ... (click for more)

This super blood moon is going to be fun because we will be able to see the moon ... (click for more)

Basketball will share the spotlight with a more serious subject next week when McMinn County visits Soddy-Daisy for a District 5-3A game. Cancer. That last category is what ... (click for more)

Red Bank Uses Forfeits To Nip Notre Dame

Notre Dame won the battle, but Red Bank won the war. These two proud teams squared off at Notre Dame’s Jack Steiner Sr. Gymnasium for a non-district wrestling match. It was also a reunion event for former Fighting Irish wrestlers and coaches, so there were a lot of smiling faces present. Notre Dame ended up winning seven of eight matches, but the Lions were the team winner ... (click for more)
