Jeff Styles Starts New Gig On NoogaRadio 92.7 FM

Sunday, December 9, 2018

Longtime Talk Radio host Jeff Styles, who was fired by WGOW Talk Radio after being arrested in a road rage incident, has found a new gig.

He begins Monday morning with "Fred the Show" on NoogaRadio 92.7 FM from 8-10 a.m.

It will be sponsored by Peoples Home Equity, one of his sponsors during his long tenure at WGOW.

Charges of aggravated assault and vandalism were recently dismissed at the Grand Jury level. Mr. Styles was shot in the arm after he confronted another driver armed with a tomahawk and smashed the driver's side window.

He said, "I'm a man coming in from the wilderness after several months of wandering/soul-searching.

"My name Is Jeff.

"I’m a Virgo (on the cusp of Libra).

"My Turn-ons are: Comforting the Afflicted.  Afflicting the Comfortable.  Telling the Truth.

"My Turn-offs are:  Liars, Mouth-Breathing Ideological Zealots and Politicians.  (But, I Repeat Myself)

"I’ve Been Out of the Loop for a While and I Need Your Help Catching up on a Few Things:

"Are Boy Bands Still “Rockin’ America’s Airwaves”?

"Is our Relationship with Russia still Friendly after the Fall of “The Wall’ and the End of The “Cold War”?

"Did Chattanooga’s “Violence Reduction Initiative” end Gang-Warfare and Street Crime as Advertised?

"Are we Tired of Winning, Yet?

So, friends, a few more questions:

*- America still stands for our founding principles of freedom of speech, right?
* - The 5th Column, American journalists, seeking the truth, are are still protected to the uttermost limits of western law...with all of us dependent /existing under the the inherent right of the first amendment, right?
* - We would NEVER let our principles, laid down by the founding fathers, to be corrupted by one party...or (a thousand times worse), a single person...even if he were, God Forbid, the President...for personal or "single party politics" self-enrichment?
* - Corrupting the U.S.
Constitution based on "cult of personality" or popular zeitgeist, is the ultimate goal of what communists/fascists/nihilists/anarchists hoped to achieve, right?
* - The average American is still intelligent enough to know what a "zeitgeist" is, right?
* - Chattanooga's STILL the "Dynamo of Dixie", right...leading the world in textile imports?
* - Is "Family Feud" still the best TV Show ever?
* - Did the average IQ of the human race drop significantly while I've been gone?

Thanks for your feedback.  It might come into play real soon.

Growth Can Continue At Ooltewah On Septic Tanks

I want to set the record straight about growth in North Hamilton County. On Feb. 21, 2019, County Mayor Coppinger called a “reset” meeting with the residents of Ooltewah/Harrison over the proposed sewer plant in North Hamilton County. In front of this community, I stood up and specifically asked the county mayor if growth could continue in Ooltewah and Harrison on septic tanks ... (click for more)

Our Roads Need To Be Repaired For Ironman - And Response

Chattanooga being a finalist for the 2021 Ironman is great news. The business gained at the local bicycle repair shops from bent rims, busted tires and warped frames should produce some great local revenue. The local physicians should see a surge as well from the twisted ankles and busted up knees from dips, humps and pot holes on our area roads that could swallow a small child. ... (click for more)

Ooltewah Invitational: Grissom's Tate Stifles Owls 7-2 With 14 Strikeouts

Grissom baseball coach Travis Tate saw his Tigers attack Ooltewah pitching on Friday and it wasn’t anything he hadn’t seen from other teams in Alabama’s Class 7A baseball over the years. “Batters in our league are aggressive, but we’ve been on an offensive skid lately because we’ve taken too many pitches early in the count,” Tate said. “We don’t want bad takes. If we get good ... (click for more)
