Baylor's Vibbert Signs WIth Lee

Wednesday, February 7, 2018
Abbie Vibbert has signed soccer papers to continue her soccer career at Lee University.
She attended Baylor School her sophomore year and was ineligible until the end of the soccer season in the fall. She started for Baylor as a center-back that year and help lead the Baylor soccer team to a state runner-up place.

"She has been a huge part of our program over the past three years," Baylor head coach Curtis Blair said. "We are all very excited for her to be going to a great program and being coached by Coach Hennessey."

Vibbert is leaving Baylor with finishing her senior season 14-0-5, winning the DII State Championship, being ranked #19 in the nation, and team captain.
Abbie was a huge part of our success.

"She is one of the most unselfish players (she always put the team first) and played center-back for Baylor, instead of her normal position as a forward,"  Blair continued.  "She is one of the nicest young ladies that you will ever meet. It has been great to see her grow as a soccer player, but even more as a confident young lady. She will be missed next year."

Roy Exum: The Saturday Funnies

All right, this one is on me. I knew what I wanted to suggest in this week’s Saturday Funnies and about mid-afternoon yesterday I crafted a story I think a lot of people will like. As soon as I was done, I put the story “in the can,” which is to say I saved it, and then caught up on my phone messages and chores. A couple of hours later I went to retrieve the story and – zip! nada! ... (click for more)
