The Salvation Army Opens New Family Store In Cleveland

The Salvation Army will open a new Family Store, 1701 South Lee Highway in Cleveland.  State Representative Dan Howell will assist in a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. at The Family Store.   

“The Salvation Army is excited to expand its Family Store operation into Bradley County,” states Major Robert Lyle, area commander for The Salvation Army. “This will be a ‘win-win’ for the community.  Shoppers can take advantage of low pricing on great merchandise and feel good knowing the proceeds are going towards helping others!”   

A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will happen promptly at 10 a.m., and then the doors will open to the public.

Tennessee's jobless rate in October was still near historic lows, despite a slight uptick. October’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for October was 3.7 percent, 0.1 of a percentage point higher than the previous month.
