Simon Duke, 55, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018, at Erlanger Medical Center. 

He is survived by his parents, Sammy and Louise Duke; sister, Susie Chadwick; brothers and sister-in-law, Clint and Christie Duke, Mark Duke, LeBron Duke, and Jodee Duke; special uncle and aunt, Daniel and Wanda Duke; and other uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Pratt officiating. 

Burial will be in Colonial Hills Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

The Planning Commission on Monday afternoon unanimously recommended M-1 zoning for most of the 44-acre Harriet Tubman site in East Chattanooga.
