Anna L. Parris, 76, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018, in a Fort Oglethrope health care facility.

She was the daughter of the late Charles and Loula Shannon and was also preceded in death by her husband Willard Eugene Parris her son David Parris and her daughter Debbie Parris.

She was of the Church of God faith.

Survivors include her sons, Marty Parris and his wife Mary, Charles Parris, seven grandchildren, her brothers, Jackie Shannon, Paul Shannon and Billy Joe Shannon, and her sister, Martha Shannon. 

A Remembrance of Life Service will be held graveside at 2 p.m. on Thursday, at Cookson Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Tim Dennison officiating.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Avenue Chapel.
