Lee University’s School of Music will present the third annual Composer’s Forum Showcase on Friday, March 16, at 7:30 p.m. in Squires Recital Hall in the Humanities Center.
This concert will feature works composed entirely by Lee University students. Since 2015, Composer’s Forum has been a place for student composers to workshop and present their works within a creative community.
“This unique concert is a good opportunity for both beginning and advanced students to hear their works performed live,” said Dr. John Wykoff, concert organizer and associate professor of music at Lee. “It’s also a good opportunity for performers to learn the value of playing original works and collaborating with composers.”
This is a free, non-ticketed event, and is open to the public.
