The Board of Parole (BOP), the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), the Department of Correction (TDOC) and the Tennessee Rehabilitative Initiative in Correction (TRICOR) will observe National Crime Victims’ Rights Week with a ceremony Friday in Chattanooga.
During the event, organizers will also honor a Southeast Tennessee advocate who assists crime victims.
The event will be at 10 a.m. in Coolidge Park, Walker Pavilion 1250 Market Street, Chattanooga.
This event is one of 10 that are taking place across the state this week.
Additional events are scheduled for Nashville, Knoxville, Memphis, Cookeville, Jackson, Johnson City, Columbia, Clarksville and Murfreesboro.
