Sequatchie Softball Advances To Class AA Region Championship

The Sequatchie County softball team beat Upperman 7-2 Monday night and advances to the region championship game against Dekalb County. 

MacKenzie Turner was the winning pitcher and had 10 strikeouts.

Ella Edgmon, Abbie McGowan, MacKenzie Turner, Jaylyn Schmitt and Cali Green all had two hits.  

Upperman's Riley Hurst and Hannah Hughes both had two hits.
