Anne Pfitzer
Anne Hubbard Pfitzer died peacefully due to complications with Alzheimer’s. She was 60.
Anne was born on April 3, 1958, in Richmond, Va., to her parents Jim and Mary Hubbard. She graduated from the University of Richmond with a degree in Speech and Theater in 1980 and in 2007 completed a master’s of science in Food Marketing from St. Joseph’s University. She went to work for Kellogg’s and retired after 27 years as a senior director of Sales in Philadelphia. She married Charlie Pfitzer in 1996 and lived in California until they moved to Chicago and then onto Philadelphia. They retired and moved to Chattanooga in 2014. They are members of St. Jude’s Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie Pfitzer; brothers, Jay Hubbard of Baltimore, Larry Hubbard of Lynchburg, Va., David Hubbard of Baltimore, Mark Hubbard of Richmond and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews which she adored. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace, on Friday, June 1, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and later a Mass for her will be held in Baltimore.
