Alice “Frances” Sizemore Smith, 94, of Dalton, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. She was born to the late Achery and Daisy Blaylock in DeKalb County, Alabama, lived most of her life in the North Georgia Area and was a member of Chattanooga Valley Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who will be greatly missed.
Frances was also preceded in death by her loving husband, James William “J.W.” Smith; daughters, Lois Clark and Virginia Hill; son, William Smith; grandson, Randy Smith and several siblings.
She is survived by her children, Frances Moree and Sarah Andrade; brother, Jack Sizemore; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Calvary Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday and prior to the service on Saturday.
