McCormick A Target Of NashVillains

  • Thursday, June 7, 2018

I recently read the article about the dirt the “Anonymous College Student” dug up recently. If you buy that story I’ve got a bridge connecting Soddy to Harrison for sale.

A hit job like this is usually reserved to an election for the politician's office.

Yes, Rep. McCormick is on the ballot up for re-election, unopposed in the Primary. So what exactly would this tidbit of info accomplish if not to swing the the Primary election? To find out I went digging, and what I found was something straight out of a House of Cards episode.

Being how Rep. McCormick, a career politician, is running unopposed in the Republican Primary, I tried to figure out what else he had to lose. It may surprise you to learn, like it did me, that he’s running for Majority Leader in the State House. He’s running against current Majority Leader Glen Casada out of Franklin. You don’t have to be an astrophysicist to do the math here folks.

With that being said, I do feel an investigation is warranted into Rep. McCormick. If he’s been living/residing in Nashville, as he allegedly put on a mortgage application, that’s just wrong. Now that Mr. McCormick is unopposed in the Republican Primary it opens that seat up to being taken by a Democrat in the General Election by the Democratic Primary victor. That would be either David Jones or Jean-Marie Lawrence.

Now, unlike the “anonymous college student,” I do have a face and name. Like Rep. McCormick, allegedly, I do not reside in his district. So in essence I don’t have a dog in the race, per say. I’m right on the line in what most acknowledge is a Gerrymandered State District usurping power away from voters in North Hamilton County. Seriously, have you see the map?
