Retired From The Hamilton County School System After 20 Years

Sandra Lee Hale, 71, of Chattanooga passed away on June 30, 2018, in a local hospital.

A native of Akron, Ohio, she had lived in Chattanooga since the late 1980s and retired from the Hamilton County School System after 20 years of service.  At her retirement she taught at Harrison Elementary School and enjoyed spending time with her retiree friends known as the “Harrison Lunch Bunch.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Darcina Hale.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Justin Braddock, Chattanooga;  brother Donald F. (Gloria) Hale II, San Jose, Ca; niece, Carson Hale Barrett, Indianapolis; many beloved cousins; and aunt, Susan Bollman.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 4, at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Sandy loved her four-legged furry children,  both dogs and cats.

Memorial contributions may be made to the McKamey Animal Shelter, 4500 North Access Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37415.
