Lacey Simpson-Starling
Elasha J. "Lacey" Simpson-Starling, age 31, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018.
She was a member of Mountain Ridge Baptist Church, a graduate of Dalton High School, and was employed by Mohawk Industries and House of Fadez Barbershop. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents Lola Mann, Martha Tibbs, Lucius Tibbs, James P. Witherow, Jeanette Witherow; aunt, Gwendolyn Wingfield; uncles, James F. Tibbs, Corey DeLoach, William Mitchell, and Douglas Shoemaker; and cousin, Stephanie Keeler.
She is survived by her parents, mother, Dedira P. Tibbs White (Johnnie Thomas), father, Randall C. DeLoach; children, Diemond Simpson, Domonique Simpson, Aeryian Starling, and Kamryn Starling, all of Dalton; sister, Amberly DeLoach; brothers, Randon (Brooke) DeLoach, Lucius David White, and Christopher White; grandparents, Lucius Allen Tibbs, Jr, and Priscilla Tibbs, Kathleen DeLoach, Freddy DeLoach; aunt, Maureen Jones; uncles, Steven Allen (Teresa) Tibbs, Freddy DeLoach, Kenneth (Stacy) DeLoach; great-aunts and great-uncles, Wanda (Ronald) Pender, Janice (David) Watson, Gail (Cecil) Jackson, Peggy Mitchell, Joyce Shoemaker, and Sheila (Vance) Young; nieces, Presleigh White, Naomi Binns; nephews, Kyler Partlow, LaKayne White, Kobe White, Taegan Liam Hooper, Maddox DeLoach; mother-in-law, Bridgett (Willie) Banks; father of Diemond and Domonique, Kaiser Simpson; father of Aeryian and Kamryn, Kenneth Starling; dear friends, Vickie Blackwell, Marco Starling, April Starling; a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 1, at noon at Mountain Ridge Baptist Church, 1401 Martin L. King, Jr., Blvd., Dalton, Georgia, with Rev. Dr. Jerry D. Jones and other ministers officiating.
Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday after 11 a.m.
Interment will be in West Hill Cemetery.
