Forrest Moorer

Forrest Moorer, a witness of Jehovah, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the age of 56.

He received his primary education in the Hamilton County School System.  He was a 1980 graduate of Kirkman Technical High School.  Forrest was employed by Sea Board Farms and The 1885 Restaurant.  He was a member of the Avondale Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. 

Forrest was preceded in death by his parents, Willie James and Annie Lee Moorer; sister, Windy Jo Craig; uncles, Eugene Moorer, Harrison Moorer, Mathis Roberts, and J.W. Dixon; and aunts, Louise Benson, Smilie May Moorer, and Mary Alice Roberts. 

Survivors include his sisters, Tonnette (Ronald) Auroa Saunders and Sonya (Edwin) Harrison; brothers, Vincent Moorer of Chattanooga and Jonathan (Cynthia) Moorer of Nashville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be Saturday, Sept. 8, at 1 p.m. at Avondale Kingdom Hall with Brother Gene Hester giving the discourse.
