Review for the performers:
With 23 strings and four voices, The Fine Neighbors String Band puts a brand new shine on some seriously fun old American music. The group draws its eclectic repertoire from nearly a century of traditional bluegrass, gospel, and Americana music. The band is made up of two music-loving Lookout Mountain couples living a stones throw from each other. Members include Sally Clark (guitar/vocals), Ben Clark (banjo/vocals), Connie Ward (mandolin/fiddle/vocals) and Dane Ward (double bass/vocals). Audience members have described the Fine Neighbors String Band as “upbeat music”, “lots of good natured fun”, and “people of all ages want to sing along”.
Self described as a faithful rock and roll listener and spiritualist, Trey Forbes brings an eclectic mix of covers and original material.
Storyteller Michael Gray will return with a new piece about home and the critical relationship between family and bears.
