Belinda Louise Pierce, 68, of Trenton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. She was born in Toppenish, Wa. and spent most of her life in Evansville, In., but it was only after moving to the Georgia 25 years ago that she considered herself home.
After retiring, she volunteered with children. She was a very active and dedicated member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.
She was Preceded in death by her parents, Harrell and Peggy Pierce.
She is survived by her daughter, Theresa McDaniel; granddaughter, Katie McDaniel; brother and sister, Jesse Pierce, of East Ridge and Peggy Digman, of New Harmony, In. with whom Mrs. Pierce shared a close bond; and brother and sister, Owen Small, of Evansville, In. and Sara Strong of Henderson, Ky.
All those that knew her, knew that she had a wonderful heart full of love for her Lord, family and friends.
A celebration of her life service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15 at her church, Piney Grove Baptist Church, at 11 a.m., with Brother John Smith officiating. A potluck style lunch will be held after the service for family and friends to fellowship.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations to be made to Josh and Melissa Daniels, missionaries to Brazil. Donations can be made by contacting Piney Grove Baptist Church, 864 Piney Road, Trenton, GA 30752, phone 706-657-6362.
