Alliance Church Member Worked As Doctors Assistant And Medical Secretary

Coretta Nabors, of Deland, Florida, passed away at Halifax Hospice Deland on September 4, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edna and Frank Nabors, sister Bobbie Nabors, and brother, Bill Nabors.

She is survived by sisters Jewell Steiner, Sebastian, Fla., and Jo (Ann) Kolafa (Vic), Deland, Fla.

She was a graduate of Hixson High School and Tennessee Temple University. She was formerly employed as a doctors assistant at Campbell Clinic and as Medical Secretary to Doctors Gilley, Nelson and Dowell at Northpark Hospital, where she retired in 1999. She was a member of the Alliance Chapel, Deland, Fla., and a former member of North River Alliance Church, Hixson, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held at the Chattanooga Funeral Home, South Moore Road, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Visitation will be 30 minutes before the service and burial will be PRIVATE at The Forest Hills Cemetery.
