Eloise “Lil’ Mama” Barnes, 94, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 at a local healthcare facility.

 She was employed by Erlanger Hospital for many years.

 She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, James and Minnie Ruth McKibben; brothers, Edward and Jimmy McKibben.

 Survivors include her daughter, Minerva McKibben Saunders; granddaughter, Tiffany C. Saunders; great-grandchildren, Akiyah Davenport, Amaiya Fitch, and Cayden Fitch; adoptive sister, Marie (Joseph) McGee; cousin, Mildred Thompson, all of Chattanooga; several other relatives and friends.

 She will lie in state Monday, September 10, 2018 after 12:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Calvin White as the eulogist.  Burial in Forest Hills Cemetery.
