Christine Coats Thompson, 93, of Dalton, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at her home, surrounded by her children.

She was the daughter of the late Walter and Lula Hilburn Coats and was preceded in death by her husband, Toby Thompson.

Christine was a member of First Baptist Church of Dalton.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Peggy Thompson of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Gilda and Randall Harrison of Dalton, Georgia and Tim Cason of Madison, Al., and Tammy Thompson of Dalton; grandchildren, Kelly Thompson, Shannon Thompson, Josh Harrison, Randy Harrison, Stephanie Nguyen and Chrissy Smiddy; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and In Memory of a dear and special friend, Richard Holmes of Chattanooga.

Services will be on Saturday, Jan. 12, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Reverend Tommy Crider officiating.

Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Saturday, from 11 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m.
