Boyd-Buchanan, Grace Split In Prep Hoops

The Boyd-Buchanan boys beat Grace 51-32 Friday night and the Grace girls stopped the Lady Bucs 47-37.    

In the boys game, Ian Johnson led all scorers with 19 points and Riley Covington had 10.  

In the girls game, Grace was led by Keilyn Morgan with 16 and Abigail Smith with 10. Tate Gardenhire and Dani Reeves each had 11 for the Lady Bucs.

County Commission Votes 5-4 Against 34-Cent Property Tax Increase For The Schools

The County Commission voted 5-4 on Wednesday morning against a 34-cent property tax increase for the county schools. Citizen Outcry Leads Signal Mountain Council To Hold Off On Big Tax Increase
