SAU Symphony Orchestra Presents Its First Concert Of 2019 Jan. 27

Southern Adventist University’s Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of conductor Laurie Redmer Minner, will present a concerto concert for its first event of the new year on Jan. 27 at 4 p.m. in the Collegedale Church of Seventh-day Adventists, 4829 College Dr. E. in Collegedale.

The concert will feature works such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Concerto for Flute, Harp, and "Orchestra in C major” and Peter Tchaikovsky’s “Variations on a Rococo Theme, op. 33.”

The performance will also include selections by Emmanuel Sejourne, Carl Nielsen, Sir Edward Elgar, and Edvard Grieg.

The event is free and open to the public.  For more information, call the School of Music at 423-236-2880.
