Lowell Reid
Lowell Chandler Reid, 79, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019, in a local health care facility.
He was a member of New Enon Baptist Church.
Lowell was preceded in death by his parents; and special friend, Wilma Goode.
Survivors include his daughters, Lolita Bryson, Youlanda Anderson, both of Chattanooga, and Suzette Reid of LaGrange, Ga.; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Reid of Franklin, Ga.; sisters, Cara Hood of Atlanta, Ga., and Rudean Park of LaGrange; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
He will lie in state on Saturday, Jan. 19, at 10 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Reverend Wilhelmenia Hogg as the eulogist. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
