Mechelle “Lil’ Bit” Lane
Mechelle “Lil’ Bit” Lane, 38, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019.
She accepted Christ at an early age and recently started attending Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church.
Mechelle was preceded in death by her father, Willie Harris; grandmother, Maxcine Bentley Lane; grandfather, Jimmy Rutledge; uncles, Dennis and Freddie Lane.
Survivors include her sons, Ladedrick Lane, Ladarean Lane, Ladarrius Lane, Eric Jordan, Ladaniel Lane, and Kennedy Copeny; daughters, Glenisha Lane and Jamisha Copeny; mother, Glenda Ann Harris; twin sister, Lechelle Lane; brother, Calvin (Erica) Ross; uncles, Darrell Lane and Anthony Lane, all of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
She will lie in state on Tuesday, Jan. 22, after 12:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home and a family hour will follow from 6-7 p.m.
