Closures Announced For Ashland Terrace Work Beginning Tuesday

Friday, January 18, 2019
Starting on Tuesday, trenching across Ashland Terrace, starting at the entrance to the Walmart Neighborhood Market, will be done two lanes at a time, maintaining two-way traffic. This is expected to take three to four days.
 
There will be an overnight closure of Ashland Terrance on Friday, Jan. 25, from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. to install the gas pipe. Local detours will be posted.

Chattanooga Man Arrested Erroneously While Starting On Family Vacation To Iceland Sues For $27 Million

A Chattanooga man who was arrested erroneously while starting on a family vacation to Iceland has filed suit for $27 million. George Harrison is suing the city and Chattanooga Police officers Kaumar Hughes and Mathew Lynch in Federal Court. He is suing the city for $5 million and the officers for $1 million each.
