Mattie Holt
Mattie Jean Chambers Holt, 84, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018.
Born in Boynton, Ga., on Feb. 1, 1934, she lived in the Chattanooga area since 1944. Jean retired from AT&T after 40 years of service with Southern Bell, South Central Bell, and Bellsouth.
She is survived by her son, William Leonard “Len” Holt, Jr., grandchildren, Philip Justin Holt, Conroe Texas, Laura Holt and Brooks Castin, Richardson, Texas, brother-in-law, Dr. Raymond A. and Marianne Holt, Ft. Myers, Fl., Retired Lt. Colonel Air Force David L. and Donna Holt Collinsville, Ok., brother-in-law, William Davis, Winchester, Tn., sister-in-law, Shirley Holt, Carroll Holt, and Lynn Holt, along with all family members.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4, at Chattanooga National Cemetery, with Reverend Bill Summers officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1–5 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
