Lew Jean Ware, age 64, of LaFayette, Georgia, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 at her residence.
She was born on Dec. 27, 1954 to her mother, Sally Mae Stalling Ware and father, the late Henry Lewis Ware.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Glenda Gail Ware and brother, Ruddy Ware, Sr.
She retired after thirty years from Shaw Industries and she was a life member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. Lew Jean Ware loved traveling, reading, singing, and serving the Lord.
Survivors are her loving family, daughter, Sabrina Felicia Ware; mother, Sally Mae Stalling Ware of LaFayette, Ga.; son/nephew, Marcus Ware of Chattanooga, Tn.; grandchildren, Princess A. (Minister Ronald D.) Bristow, Dutchess J. Ware, Jamilynn Ware, Jamarian Ware, Rhyan Bristow and Rhalyn Bristow; sisters, Ray Dean Chun, Yolanda Faye Ware, Twyla Ruth Ware; brother, Chucky Ware of LaFayette; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A celebration of her life and homegoing will be on Saturday, Jan. 26, at noon at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 289 Dunwoody Road, LaFayette, Georgia 30728, with Pastor Rheubin M. Taylor, officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Interment will be at the LaFayette Cemetery.
