James Griffin
James “JL” Griffin, Jr., 78, of Chattanooga, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019, at his residence.
He was a devoted husband and loved reading and watching Westerns.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Irene Griffin, Sr.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Rosa Griffin; daughter, Yvette Griffin, both of Chattanooga; sisters-in-law, Vernessa Johnson of Michigan and Dorothy Johnson of North Carolina; a host of other relatives and friends.
Family reflections will be on Friday, Jan. 25, at 10:30 a.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
