Chattanooga Police said for the second time Barry Labron Griffin ran from police and wrecked his vehicle.

Griffin, 25, of 1111 S. Holly St., is facing a host of traffic and drug charges from the latest incident on Sunday.

An officer said he stopped Griffin after he saw him swerve off E. Main Street. He said there was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

He said Barry handed him his ID, then took off north on Vance Road. He was lost to sight after turning right onto Kirby Avenue.

A short time later he wrecked a Honda Accord into the side of a building at 700 Dodds Ave.

Police said Griffin was very inebriated and was slurring his speech.

He was found to have quantities of marijuana and ecstasy in large baggies.
