The Singing Echos from Blue Springs Valley, Cleveland will be at The Hullander Farm
In Apison on Sunday, Feb. 17. This is the regular monthly Red Back Hymnal Singing hosted by Hamilton County Trustee Bill Hullander and his wife Linda.
The Epperson family started the group in 1969. They travel all over the United States singing Hymns and Southern Gospel Music. In 1973 the group received a Grammy nomination for the arrangement of the song, “When I Wake Up to Sleep no More."
Mr. Hullander said he’s been trying to get the Singing Echos for some time and finally found an open date in the family's busy schedule.
The Singing Echos will host their 50th anniversary singing this year, July 17-20 at their home place
in Blue Springs Valley.
The Red Back Hymnal Singing is held the third Sunday of every month and starts at 6 p.m. It is free, although a love offering is taken to help with the group's expenses.
The January Red Back Hymnal Singing will be held on the 20th at the Hullander farm on London Lane starting at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Everyone is invited.
