City Attorney Phil Noblett on Friday filed a petition in Chancery Court seeking to close Coyote Jacks, where there was a fatal shooting on Sunday.

The complaint asks that the saloon at 1400 Cowart St. be declared a public nuisance.

Meanwhile, the owner of the property said he was terminating the club's lease.

Police have responded in and around the club 470 times since 2015 on various disorders and a prior murder.

Brandon Rogers, 19, died Sunday near the front door of the club.
