Members of the Phase Five community outreach program raised funds to spruce up the entrance of the new location of Accountability Courts

As part of Whitfield County’s relocation of government buildings, the Accountability Courts moved to 301 W. Crawford St., the former site of the Administrative Building No. 1 that relocated to the top three floors of the Wells Fargo building.

Members of the Phase Five community outreach program – which is the last level of participation in the Conasauga Circuit Drug Court, with several nearing graduation from the program – held a yard sale/car wash to raise funds for concrete containers and flowers placed at the front entrance of the new location of the Accountability Courts.

“We still have several more projects to go,” said Prudence Byers, case management / treatment technician for Drug Court, “and we are very excited about them as it will make our area stand out and look fresh.”
