Stan Childress
Stan Childress, age 77, of Rocky Face, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at his residence.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rhoda and Gertrude Childress.
He is survived by loving wife, Gloria Childress of the residence; daughters and sons-in-law, Heidi (James) Greene, of South Carolina and Tiffany (Daron) Davis of Alpharetta, Ga.; sons and daughters-in-law, Ryan (Dawn) Childress of Knoxville, Tn. Bryan (Rose) Childress of Port St. Lucie, Fl. and Stephen (Tammy) Childress of Macon, Ga.; step-sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin (Fran) Houston of Cumming, Ga., and Scott (Christy) Houston of Rocky Face; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Cynthia (David) Huggins of Loxley, Al. and Rhonda (Keith) Cox of Little River, Al.; and nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20, at the Rocky Face Chapel with Rev. Tim Chaney officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, Oct. 20, from 2 p.m. until the service hour at 4 p.m.
