Chattanooga Football Club is thrilled to announce the hiring of Owen Seaton as Chief Marketing Officer for the team. Owen comes back home to the Scenic City after most recently living in Louisville, KY where he worked as a producer for Van Wagner Sports and Entertainment to produce media for massive sporting events such as the International Champions Cup, Kentucky Derby and the NCAA Men’s Final Four. Before his time in the Bluegrass state, Owen served as the Director of Creative Services right here at UTC.
While with the Mocs, Owen managed TV, radio, and online productions and launched several successful marketing and advertising campaigns during his nine years with the school.
“Getting Owen onboard is a huge win for us” said Tim Kelly, Chairman of the Board, Chattanooga FC. “In addition to his vast knowledge of sports marketing and media production, he’s lived in the community for a number of years and truly knows Chattanooga. We’re thrilled to have him on board as we take the next step in our development as a professional football club.”
Owen will be jumping in feet first as the club wraps up its historic 2019 NPSL Members Cup campaign and makes the jump to NISA in 2020.
“Kathy and I are really excited to be coming back to Chattanooga” Owen said. “CFC is such an integral part of the community we love and call home. We can’t wait to be back home and involved in our hometown club”.
The Seaton family will be moving back home over the next few weeks, and look forward to attending Chattahooligan meetups and planning the next phase of Chattanooga’s Football Club. Owen will be at this Saturday's match against Stumptown Athletic. Kickoff is at 6:00pm, tickets are available at ChattanoogaFC.com. If you see him, please say hello!
