In Support Of The New Village Center In Walden

  • Friday, October 18, 2019

Dear Mayor Trohanis and Alderwoman McKenzie,

I want to thank you for your support for the new village center. I know it is hard to stand tall in the face of fierce opposition but you both have been steadfast in your commitment to improving the lives of many here on Signal. With you both having the final say in all design, lighting, landscaping and parking, I know it will be a beautiful place that fits perfectly here in Walden. I also trust you to make the right decisions concerning our environment, storm runoff and pollution. I voted for you and will do so again. I know you love this little town as much as my family and I do and will protect its integrity.

Please know you have more supporters than what are being vocal about it. Opposition and fear always has the loudest voices but there is a strong following for your approval of the village center. I want to also thank you for all you have done for our community, in the past, present and future.

Thank you again and congratulations on making a great decision for our town.

Heidi and Doug Wheelock
