"A Continuing Threat To Peace And Human Rights - Iran" Presentation At The Jewish Cultural Center Oct. 29

The Jewish Federation of Greater Chattanooga invites the Chattanooga community to a learning session about Iran on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at the Jewish Cultural Center, 5461 North Terrace Road.

The event will begin with dinner at 6 p.m., immediately followed by the educational session and discussion.

The cost to attend is $12 per person and includes dinner.

The Jewish Federation is offering a special discount to students wishing to attend. Contact Ann Treadwell, program director, for more information by calling 493-0270.

The speaker is Bob Feferman, outreach coordinator for United Against Nuclear Iran. "Mr. Feferman helped to initiate legislation in the Indiana General Assembly that required Indiana's state pension funds to divest from holdings in companies working in Iran's energy sector," officials said. United Against Nuclear Iran is a  not-for-profit, bi-partisan, advocacy group that seeks ensure the economic and diplomatic isolation of the Iranian regime."  

Mr. Feferman is also available to speak to additional groups on Wednesday, Oct. 30 until 1:30 p.m. There is no cost to invite him to your school or civic group.
