Barbara Hamil, age 85, of Tunnel Hill, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Velma Tolbert.
She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Charles Hamil of Tunnel Hill; two sons, Mike Hamil of Valley, Al. and Dennis Hamil of Pensacola, Fl.; one grandson, Michael Sean Hamil of Phoenix, Az.; and two great-grandchildren, Rachael Victoria Hamil and Michael Sean Hamil, Jr.
The funeral services will be Monday, Oct. 21, at 2 p.m. at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Darey Kittle officiating.
Burial will be in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, Oct. 21, from 11 a.m. till the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Salem Baptist Church.
