Children’s Handbell Choir Classes Offered In Collegedale

Collegedale Parks and Recreation Department is now offering classes for children ages 5 - 12 interested in learning how to play handbells.  Participants will be introducv.ed to music reading and become a member of the handbell choir. 

The deadline for registration is No 4. Space is limited to only eight performers.  For a fee of $35, participants will be scheduled for six rehearsal dates beginning on Monday, Nov. 5, at 5:30 p.m. 

A special performance of the Children’s Handbell Choir will conclude the class on Dec. 14 at 6 p.m.  

All participants will have entry to the city’s Candy Cane Quest and Christmas Guests event on Dec. 14.  This year’s Candy Cane Quest will include craft making and pictures with Santa in addition to hunting for candy canes.
