City Settles Wolfe Officer Punching Case For Less Than $25,000

A March 2018 excessive force case has been settled by the city of Chattanooga for less than $25,000.

Fredrico Wolfe had filed suit in Federal Court against three city police officers.

On a body cam video, officer Benjamin Piazza was shown punching Wolfe.

Charges against Wolfe in the incident were later dropped.

Officer Piazza remains on "modified duty."

Attorney Robin Flores had been trying to get $3 million.
