The Chattanooga State Kimball site hosted its first Cyber Seniors Computer Skills Workshop during October. This free workshop, sponsored by Amerilife, is an on-campus service-learning project presented by Chattanooga State Information Technology students in the Engineering and Information Technologies Division and industry partners.

Kimball students who are registered for the computer science programming class provided one-on-one computer skills training to adult participants. The students, who serve as mentors, interview the attendees to identify the current technology skills of each participant and then provide customized computer skills training for each Cyber Senior based on their needs. Savitha Pinnepalli, CIT department head and assistant professor, planned the workshop.
