Elizabeth Mantooth
Elizabeth Mantooth, age 83, of Dalton, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 at her residence.
She is preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Mantooth; two sons, Bobby and Ronnie Mantooth.
She was a member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Geraldine Mantooth of Dalton; two sisters, Grace Carter and Joyce Tallent, both of Knoxville; brother, Donald Davis of Knoxville; three grandchildren, Christie Ridley, Jamie and Tyler Mantooth; four great-grandchildren, Justin, Preston, Eli and Noah; one great-great-granddaughter, Paisley; and special friend, Dorothy Vaughn of Dalton.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Postell officiating. Burial will be in Eton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, Nov. 12, from noon until the service hour at 2 p.m.
