John Adam Noll, Jr. joined his Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 10, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on July 2, 1939, to John Adam Noll, Sr. and Thelma Love Noll.

John graduated from Central High School in 1957.

He retired from the Electric Power Board and was the business manager for IBEW Local 846 for 19 years.

John had been a member of John Henry Pierce Lodge and was currently a member of Red Bank Lodge # 717 F&AM.  He was past Potentate (2002) of the Alhambra Shrine and also served for two years (2008-2009) as the Treasurer for the Shrine.

He was a member of Ooltewah United Methodist Church and the Watts Sunday School Class.  John was a member and Past President of the Chattanooga Half Century Club where he had also served as a member of the board of directors and served on the Sunshine Committee.

A highlight of his life was taking family vacations, most recently to Cuba.

He leaves his wife of 31 years, Sandra Noll; sons, Adam Noll of Cleveland, Jason (Mary) Noll of Jacksonville, Fl.; Aaron (Carmene) Noll, Chattanooga and step-son, Todd Styles, Chattanooga; and seven grandchildren.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful nurses and staff at Hospice of Chattanooga.  Sandra expresses many, many thanks to her wonderful family and friends throughout this difficult journey.

The family will receive friends from 1-6 p.m. on Thursday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.  

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home chapel with the Reverend Amanda Dean officiating.  A masonic service will follow the memorial service in the chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the transportation fund at the Alhambra Shrine, 1000 Alhambra Drive, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421 or to the Alzheimers Association 7625 Hamilton Park Drive Suite6, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
