Hamilton County Schools On 2-Hour Delay Due To Wintry Mix

Hamilton County Schools were on a two-hour delay Tuesday due to wintry mix of rain and flurries just coming into the area around 5 a.m. and expected to continue through 8 a.m. 

Officials said, "The delay will allow us to get daylight for better visibility for buses and drivers, as well as better road conditions in higher elevations."

Precipitation was expected to end by 8 a.m.  

School age childcare will open on regular schedule.
