Georgia Buckner Hartmanour Beloved Mother, Mammaw, GiGi, and Sister passed away peacefully on Monday, November 11, 2019.

Georgia retired from BCBST after 21 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Bill Hartman (who passed away 11-11-2015) and both parents and a sister. 

She is survived by her children, Sue Bradford, Beth (Eric) Beaird, Diane (Bob) Hicks, George (Tammy) Hartman; grandchildren, Leigh Ann (Jeremy) Futrell, Brian (Tabbitha) Lake, Stephanie (Tripp) Bettis, Ryan (Rhonda) Beagles, Brandon Hartman, Kristen (Derrick) Stone and Brett (Namoi) Hartman; great-grandchildren, Ensley Futrell, Madeline Futrell, Erin Lake, Bryson Lake, Brinley Bettis, Bristol Bettis, Landry Beagles, Maddie Beagles, Caden Hartman, Easton Hartman, Levi Stone, Noah Stone, Luke Hartman and Amos Hartman; and sister, Vanetta Perry.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Georgia Sherriff’s Youth Home, Catoosa County Sherriff Office, 3000 Highway 42 North, McDonough, GA 30253.

The family would like to thank Connie Barrett and Bonita Walker for the compassion and love shown to our mother and family. 

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

There will be a private graveside services on Friday at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.   

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
