Gary Don Jamerson, 71, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 13, 2019.

He was born on Aug. 11, 1948, in Lafayette, Ga., to the late Tilden and Edna Jamerson and was preceded in death by his two brothers, Billy and Danny Jamerson.

He was a 1966 graduate of Westminster High School in Westminster, Ca. Gary was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Delco Battery in Anaheim, Ca. He had a great love for exploring nature, listening to music and was a member of the Chattanooga Bicycle Club.

He was of the Christian faith and his favorite scripture passages included John 14: 1-3 and 27.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Jamerson, of Soddy Daisy, son, Gary Jamerson (Erin), of Hixson, daughter, Tori Hayes (Ira), of Soddy Daisy, four grandchildren, Hunter Jamerson, Ezra, Asher, and Uriah Hayes, sister, Jewellene Braun, of Omaha, Ne., and several nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
