Mary Helen Hinton Austin, 88, passed away on October 30, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Baymon Hinton and Annie Ree Adams Arnett; husband, James Austin; sisters, Christine Elizabeth Hinton Hill, Virginia Jo Hinton Jackson; brothers, Baymon Hinton, Jr., Winston Toland; granddaughter, Casey Arnold.
Mary leaves to cherish her memories to three loving children, Gregory (Linda) Arnold, Steven (Jeannie) Austin, Vanessa Lee Austin; sisters, Novella Hinton, Elizabeth Ford; grandchildren, Kenji Arnold, Quintell L. Austin, Arvin (Elizabeth) Ross, Gregory Arnold, Jr., all of Chattanooga, Kimberly (Corey) Truss, Antioch, Tn.; seven great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will begin after noon on Monday, Nov. 4, with family visitation from 7–8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, in the chapel. Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
