R. D. Johnson, 78, of Chattanooga, passed away November 19, 2019.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. R.D. was a member of Valley Memorial Baptist Church, Lookout Valley.
He was preceded in death by his son, Roger Dale Johnson; daughter-in-law, Elise Johnson; and parents, Jeff and Emmalene Johnson.
Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Faye Johnson; sons, Chris Johnson and Dusty (Michelle) Johnson; six grandchildren, Patrick Lawson, Emilie (Chris) Burnette, Alexis Johnson, Tristan Johnson, Trislynn Johnson and Takya Johnson; three great-grandchildren; brother, Bobby (Kathi) Johnson; and nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 22 at 3 p.m. in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home, with Brother Jerry Henegar officiating.
Family will receive friends Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and Friday from 1-3 p.m.
