Sharonda Featherstone
Sharonda Alese Featherstone, 51, of Chattanooga, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019.
She was a 1986 graduate of Brainerd High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Covenant College. Sharonda was a member of Mt. Canaan Baptist Church. She was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She was employed with BCBST as a manager of Provider Quality Partnership.
Sharonda was preceded in death by her mother, Francena Craighead.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Vincent Featherstone; daughter, Ashley (Justice) Azeez; stepdaughter, LaKeesha Featherstone, all of Chattanooga; father, Fred (Christina) Allen; brother, Justin Allen of Nashville; sisters, DeAndra Allen of Nashville and Lachelle Allen of Chattanooga; a host of other relatives and friends.
She will lie in state on Friday, Dec. 6, at 9 a.m. at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church. An Omega Service will be held at noon and the funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Minister Ternae Jordan, Jr. as the eulogist.
Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
