Police chekced out suspicious activity at 5613 Highway 153. An officer observed a tent that was placed on the sidewalk of Synovous Bank. Rene Renoit came from in the tent. The officer explained to Ms. Rene that she was not able to set up her tent on the sidewalk of the closed business and that she could not be on property. Ms. Rene packed up her items up and left.

A manager at the Walmart at 2020 Gunbarrel Road said a white female and black male were observed taking a large number of items and putting them into the shopping cart, then going to the self checkout aisle. The suspects were observed on camera scanning some items but not all of the items and placing them into a bag and putting them into the shopping cart. The suspects were then observed exiting out of the business past the last point of sale without paying for $90.91 worth of grocery items. They did pay for $15.05 of the grocery items. When Walmart employees stopped the male and female they began to walk back inside, but then the man said "F this" and he and the woman turned around and exited the business. The couple were observed getting into a silver Kia Optima with a tag that is registered to a couple from Harrison, Tn.

A woman said she had lost her wallet three weeks ago but never reported it stolen. She said she believed it had been stolen at the Golden Coral (1808 Gunbarrel Road). Her Social Security number was used at Memorial Northpark Hospital in Hixson. An officer went there and found video of a white female checking in under the name of the victim. When he pulled a picture of the victim, she and the suspect look very similar.

At the Fairfield Inn & Suites at 2345 Shallowford Village Dr., a woman said she left her car parked thereovernight. Her bike was attached to the back of it, secured with two locked cables. The car stayed there overnight and the next morning she discovered that the cables had been cut and the bike was gone.

At 101 Market St., officers made contact with a woman who had fell and struck her head prior to police arrival. An officer found the woman to be a customer at the establishment Leaping Leprechaun at that location. The woman denied EMS. She was willing to submit to a breathalyzer test, where she blew .29 - more than triple drunk. The woman was able to receive a ride home from her friends.

A woman said she went to Cracker Barrel at Shallowford Village Drive to eat with a friend at 10:58 a.m. She said when she went to pay she could not find her credit cards. She believes someone stole her cards from her purse while she was sitting down. She said after she left the store she received a call from her bank that a charge of $5,700 was made at a local Best Buy.

A man said he was at Tire Discounters on Gunbarrel Road where he received service for his vehicle. He said the shop did not tighten his lug nuts all the way on his vehicle. When he left, his rear driver's side tire fell off and created damage to his vehicle. Monteagle Towing came and gave him a tow.
