Hester Hamilton
Hester Imogene Hamilton, 81, from Sequatchie, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, December 13, 2019.
Imogene loved reading, working puzzle books and watching Hallmark movies. She loved all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved being outside and just sitting on the porch.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Kay Hamilton; parents, Grady and Susie Louise Lance; sons, Johnny Young, Robert, Wayne, Tommy and Bobby Hamilton; daughters, Judy Grimes and Lois Ann Hamilton; sisters, Florene Lance and Wanda Kirkpatrick; daughter-in-law, Judy Hamilton; several grand children.
The loved ones left to cherish her memories are her sons, Mike Tinker(Ann), Dennis Hamilton(Ronda), Jerry Hamilton(Donna), Chris Hamilton (Randy) and Bill Hamilton; daughters, Betty Slatton(Rexy), Jean Easterly(James), Betty Vandergriff(Eddie) and Mary Ruth Blair(Bobby); brothers, Henry Lance(Linda); sisters, Barbara Releford(Wayne), Louise Lance, Mary Ellen Hunt(Terry) and Sandra Reeves(Charlie); son-in-law Wayne Grimes; daughter-in-law Ruby Guess and Lisa McRae. 31 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would also like to give a special thanks to Kim Powell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 11 a.m. CT to 8 p.m. CT and on Sunday from 11 a.m. CT until time of service at 2 p.m.
The funeral will be conducted on Sunday, Dec. 15, at 2 p.m. CT with Cory Hamilton officiating.
Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper, Tn. Pallbearers are her grandsons and nephew.
